OK, Marcus. Desculpe-nos estar indo com muita sede ao pote.

Sim, vais ter que mudar as linhas ifconfig no seu rc.conf para colocar os 
flags dessas placas de rede e força-las para a mídea 10baseT.

Para isso tem que ler o link que eu te passei antes, para você saber quais 
parâmetros mudar no ifconfig. Eu não li com muita atenção, mas tenho 
certeza que a informação está lá, e deverá ser só você adicionar o 
parâmetro correto na string da linha dos ifconfig que vai funcionar, ok ?

media type If the driver supports the media selection system, set the media 
type of the interface to type. Some interfaces support the mutu­ ally 
exclusive use of one of several different physical media connectors. For 
example, a 10Mb/s Ethernet interface might sup­ port the use of either AUI
