Quanto as alterações da nova versão, nada significativamente relevante
no que se refere a um ambiente de produção com conciência quanto a
segurança.

PPTP Server, alguém usa isso ainda ? Como o proprio release notes
aborda: The PPTP VPN Server has been completely removed. The protocol
has been broken for over three years
Quem usa ele faz um favor a internet, migra para o OpenVPN ou IPSec.

 Traffic Shaper sobre protocolos do Layer 7, alguém em sã conciência usa
isso, em teste com um L100 bastou 60 usuários para tornar o L100 em um
L-NADA, está ai uma area que vale apena investir, filtragem em L7 no
firewall IPFW.

Suporte a Criptografica WEP, isso merece atenção para quem tem WDS entre
vários APs.

Resumo o impacto do upgrade para a versão 2.3 é simplesmente muito
pequena, desde que siga as instruções, estou atualizando a minha VM de
teste aqui para fazer mais alguns testes e ver como está.
