[FUGSPBR] Instalação Perl 5.8.1

Gurus,

Estou tendo problemas com instalação do Perl 5.8 no meu FreeBSD 4.8 e não
faço a mínima idéia do que está errado. Executo os comandos de instalação e
quando rodo o make test ele me retorna o seguinte erro:

Failed 3 test scripts out of 769, 99.61% okay.

Alguém poderia ajudar este pobre homem?!? Já procurei na documentação e não
encontrei nada para me esclarecer.... Desde já agradeço.
