pcbsd1.5 d Pra Trs ! Leia e veja ! Por Antonio em 12/03/2008 15:05:48 Ola !  Gostaria de Dizer que o PCBSD muito impressionante e estavl, parabns !  S tem um Probleminha (Uns)!  Acabei de instalar a verso 1.5 no meu laptop Sony Vaio vgn-n230e e   na esperana de que iria funcionar minha wireless intel 3945abg j que tem suporte pra ela agora, pra minha surpresa ele no reconheceu nem a wireless e nen a lan da a qual com a verso 1.4 funcionava muito bem !(no linux sava o modulo sky2 )  E Cad o Splash no boot ? To andando de R agora?  Fora o modem da conexant que nem no linux no instala por padro e o meu modelo so tem driver pro vista endiante mais num tem problema !  Vamo Melhora esse Sistema ai !  Ele muito estvel, segundo pesquisas muito seguro em requisito de rede mais o suporte a hardware e software ainda t escasso.  H e uma coisa meu processador CentrinoDuo fica igual um forno "Assando" de to quente !  To afim de Migrar mais sem as minhas necessidades bsicas num tem jeito no ! Um Compilador de C descente que o kdevelop d um monte de erro ao compilar um Projeto em C, e quem leva a bronca o gcc que t instalado mais o kdevelop nunca acha ele " Ate engraado"o wine num roda jogos do tipo nedd for speed 2 pra windows (No Linux roda Perfeito ),  E o OpenOffice que nem vem com linguagem em portugus e da voce vai baixa-la e num d porque acusa que no foi encontrado o pacote de linguagem no servidor !    Doido Perdi quatro dias da semana pra tentar migrar numa boa e me envolver mais a fundo com o PCBSD mais assim num d !    (Espero que tenham entendido a critica estou sendo apenas realista e no moralista que melhorias nesse sistema o mais rpido para estar migrando e ajudando no desenvolvimento dele tambm mais sem o que mencionei acima num d !)  Obrigado Pela Ateno !!    Estudante de Cincia da Computao do UNiFOR-MG.

kernel Por Pablo em 22/09/2010 12:30:57 Se voc baixou o PC-BSD 8.1 e continuar com o mesmo erro, d uma olhada no arquivo de configurao do kernel "/usr/src/sys/'processador'/conf/GENERIC" e veja se o driver est listado no arquivo, se tiver, descomente e compile o kernel de novo.  Procure baixa o cdigo fonte do Broffice o Openoffice no possui lingua portuguesa.

BzhQxySSuGmoYPHhRR Por Inno em 11/06/2012 06:27:22 I?ve installed 9.0 and the tintesg snapshot several times to both test the snapshot and shed light on other problems I?ve encountered ? not related to the intela0iga;I posted three problems that appear in thunderbird, firefox and libr office ? which turn up on both the snapshot and pcbsd-release ? only when running on ZFS; Experience whispers in my ear that this is a stale-version-of somethingy compiled or linked to zfs; not in the applications; I recompiled thunderbird and firefox and the problems remained. On UFS the problem goes away out of the box and also when the applications are compiled from ports. To me, the problem is serious enough that I would not use ZFS until its tracked down.After convincing myself of the above, I recompiled the kernel ? left as generic, but cvsuped to stable and given a newa0name.The updated kernel introduced thermal control on the cpus at the kernel level and eliminated thermal concerns for everyday activity; smplayer etc reintroduce the problem, but based on my experience with the snapshot and Linux, with later code from Intel, I expect that a later release of xf86-intel on pcbsd will eliminate or greatly reduce this problem and thermal problems will no longer be an issue ? at least fora0me.I have to get back to the porter on Redshift, but at this point, I expect the problem I?ve experienced relates to the level of support in the Vesa driver ? not a Redshift bug. On Suse 11.4 the Vesa driver is at 3.0, which is what?s used to support the iga, which is fine for redshift.On another track, I?ve got dnscrypt-proxy working; its version .093 or some such. Opendns has everything for it on the github ? even a freebsd package. I just downloaded source; ./configure-make-install ? and put the opendns provided init script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d.Everything works as expected; performance is excellent on my laptop ? I?ll probably do something to install Unbound in a bit just out of curiosityI do almost everything on my laptop these days and am always using one wireless AP or another to get to the net; the added security of dnscrypt? proxy appeals toa0me.There was one hiccup: networkmanager changes to dns server addresses ? from isp to 127.0.0.1 for dns proxy were not sticky; reported this as a bug; KM fixed it in the new networkmanager and suggested a change to dhclient.conf that fixed the problem fora09.0.The fix: supersede domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1 (in my case, or any other dns server ip addresses);worked justa0fine.If I haven?t overlooked too many things in rushing to use dns-proxy ? it would be a great feature for 9.1; the config file for it also allows the use of dns servers other than opendns ? if ? they also support dns crypt encryption ? maybe a chicken and the egg thinga0here.Colby.
